Chloé Hajjar is a Detroit-based multidisciplinary artist investigating the intersections of ancient craftsmanship and contemporary technology. Her practice spans metalworking, creative technologies, sculpture, and printmaking by merging traditional processes with evolving tools to explore narratives of innovation, obsolescence, and human survival.

Shaped by craft, experimentation, and invention, a new language is formed through intertwining digital and physical media with inks, metals, chemical reactions, patinas, fibers and more. She invites a reconsideration of our relationship to the natural world, technological advancement, and what we are collectively carrying forward.

Hajjar’s detailed process is an offering toward preservation in an age of disposability. The resulting work takes form as future relics, where the material surface functions as a durable interface, capturing the logic of screens into tangible matter.
